Crime alert: Larcenies and vandalism in Price Hall

May 16, 2016

From: Police Department

On May 9, 2016, a call was made to the Virginia Tech Police Department about vandalism inside a lab in Price Hall.  A small amount of damage was found by reporting officers. The words "Greek was here" were written on a chalk board by possibly the same person or persons that committed the property damage.

On May 13, 2016, two larceny reports were made that appear to be connected to this incident.  A laptop computer, umbrella, small amount of money, and an inexpensive electronic device were reported stolen from two different locations near the area where the vandalism occurred.

If you have any information about the vandalism or larcenies that occurred in Price Hall between May 6 and May 9 contact Detective J.C. Waid at 540-231-6790.
