From: Student Affairs
In partnership with International Graduate Student Services in the Graduate School, Cranwell International Center (Cranwell) in the Division of Student Affairs is launching an initiative called International VOICES (Valuable Opportunities for Intercultural Communication, Education, and Sharing).
Described more generically as a “speakers’ bureau” for international students, Cranwell initiated the program to facilitate opportunities for international students to share their culture, global perspectives, and life experiences with the broader university community.
The rich diversity of Virginia Tech’s international student population provides an opportunity for sharing authentic voices, engaging in dialogue, interactive experiences, encouraging intercultural communication, and dynamic learning. Virginia Tech faculty, staff, student groups, and community members may submit a request to International VOICES for an international student to be a guest presenter or speaker. International students interested in serving VOICES as a representative of their home country can submit their registration online or contact Xiaotian Li with further questions.
