From: Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute

Adults aged 18-65 needed for a two-visit, confidential research study on risky decision making in individuals who occasionally use cocaine. This research is sponsored by the National Institute of Drug Abuse and being conducted by Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute. Compensation is up to $200 based on the extent of participation. Additional compensation may also be provided for referral of other eligible participants to the study. Sessions are available in Blacksburg and Roanoke. Travel compensation to Roanoke may be provided.

Participation involves:

  • Decision Making Tasks
  • Questions about risky behaviors
  • fMRI Brain Scan - you'll receive a CD with images of your brain to take home!

This is not a treatment study. Pregnant females are excluded.
