The Virginia Tech Foundation and the New River Valley Friends of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra will sponsor the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Music Director David Wiley, in concert Sunday, March 13. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in Burruss Hall Auditorium.

Tickets are available at Virginia Tech Department of Music (241 Squires Student Center) and the UUSA Ticket Office (129 Squires Student Center). Tickets are also available at Volume Two Bookstore in Blacksburg, Old Town Printing in Christiansburg and FNB in Radford. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors. Students are free.

The program will include Stravinsky's choral masterpiece Symphony of Psalms and Brahms' Serenade No. 2 and Strauss' Suite in B-flat major for thirteen wind instruments. This performance will bring the winds out front to give the audience a more intimate experience with this music.
