Bob Mollenhauer of Roanoke, Va., has been named the director of development for Virginia Tech's College of Natural Resources.

Mollenhauer’s main responsibility is to help the College of Natural Resources meet its goal in Virginia Tech’s fundraising campaign. Mollenhauer will be cultivating personal relationships with alumni, friends, and long-time supporters of the college, and potential donors. “I have a great deal of respect for Virginia Tech and its College of Natural Resources, which is internationally recognized,” he affirmed.

Most recently, Mollenhauer worked as the vice president for resource development at Roanoke College. Prior to serving in that position, he had served in a number of development positions at different universities. Mollenhauer received his bachelor’s degree in English from Lafayette College before completing his master of education in counseling psychology at Boston University.
