Feb. 26: Winter weather impacts university operations; some university centers closed

8:30 a.m. update: The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine will open at noon today. Classes starting before noon are canceled.
8:15 a.m. update: The Reynolds Homestead is closed today. All classes are canceled.
7:50 a.m. update: The Virginia Beach and Newport News locations of the Hampton Roads Center are closed today. All classes are canceled.
6:45 a.m. update: The Richmond Center is closed today. All classes are canceled.
A snow emergency was declared for the Blacksburg campus effective at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Parking restrictions will be in effect.
