The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Regimental Band, the Highty-Tighties, will perform its annual spring concert on Sunday, May 3.

The Highty-Tighties concert band will begin its performance at 5 p.m. in the Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre, located within the Moss Arts Center’s Street and Davis Performance Hall at 190 Alumni Mall. 

Led by Lt. Col. George McNeill, the Highty-Tighties will perform a variety of music to include contemporary, patriotic, big band, and marches by John Philip Sousa. En Corps, the cadet string ensemble, will also perform. 

McNeill, who has led the Highty-Tighties for the past 23 years, is retiring at the end of this year. Before arriving at Virginia Tech McNeill served 22 years in the Army Service Band.

The concert is free and open to all. No tickets are required. Parking is available in the North End Parking Garage on Turner Street. Virginia Tech faculty and staff possessing a valid Virginia Tech parking permit can enter and exit the garage free of charge. Limited street parking is also available. Parking on Alumni Mall is free on weekdays after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Additional parking information is available online.
