BLACKSBURG, Va., Feb. 14, 2016 – At approximately 12:25 a.m. on Feb. 13, 2016, The Virginia Tech Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that had occurred approximately 20 minutes earlier in the Dietrick Parking Lot on the Virginia Tech campus. 

Upon arrival, a male victim was located and reported that an unknown male with a deep, scruffy voice called out for help from the bushes. The victim stated that when he approached, the suspect jumped up, presented a knife and demanded the victim's wallet. The victim resisted and a struggle ensued. 

The suspect then fled the area in the direction of War Memorial Gym.

The suspect is described as a "college aged" white male approximately 5' 10" tall, slender build, with dirty blonde hair, over his ears in length. He was wearing a black zip up jacket with a hood and blue jeans.
