Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold Virginia Fall Fencing School Nov. 1.

The workshop is open to the first 30 participants to register and will be held at the Pearisburg Community Center at 1410 Wenonah Avenue in Pearisburg, Virginia,  from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The cost to attend is $30 and includes lunch and materials. Participants may register here. The event is sponsored by the Virginia Forage and Grassland Council and Virginia Cooperative Extension.

Attendees will get an overview of fence construction basics as well as hands-on building opportunities with h-brace construction, knot tying, splices, insulator installation, and electric fencing fundamentals. Demonstrations and presentations will be given by industry professionals and Extension faculty.
