While the holiday season is quickly coming to a close, there is still time to enjoy festivities at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.

Here are details of remaining holiday events. For reservations, call 540-231-0120.

Fashions for Evergreens and gingerbread village

Fashions for Evergreens, the Inn’s annual competitive decorated-tree display, features 17 holiday trees designed by local businesses and organizations. The 2016 competition received over 3,000 votes, making it the most popular year to date.

The Inn partnered with the Blacksburg High School Culinary Arts Department to bring back the hotel’s annual gingerbread display. Students created Blacksburg Country Holiday, a village crafted from 75 pounds of icing and other sweet treats. The Orange Bandana's tree won first place in the judges' estimation, while Price's Fork Elementary pulled in the award for people's choice.

The holiday trees and gingerbread village are on display, free to the public, through New Year’s Day.
