Winter weather: Campus centers and AREC in Hampton Roads are closed for Friday

9:26 a.m. update: The Hampton Roads Campus Centers in Newport News and Virginia Beach are closed Friday.

Update: Jan. 4, 2018

4:33 p.m. update: The Hampton Roads Agricultural Research and Extension Center will be closed Jan. 5.

8:53 a.m. update: Before leaving work today, the university community is encouraged to close all windows around work stations and in public spaces in order to avoid potential problems with freezing pipes and associated water damage.

Offices in the National Capital Region, consisting of Alexandria, Arlington, and Falls Church, will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The Hampton Roads Center - Newport News is closed. All classes and activities are canceled for Jan. 4.
