Virginia Tech introduces a new collection of ring designs for each class. The tradition spans more than 100 years. The latest design will be unveiled Oct. 9 at Ring Premiere

Here are four things to know about the annual tradition.

1. It's a chance to see the big unveil. Virginia Tech is one of a few colleges and universities that redesign their ring collections each year. The Class of 2020 will unveil its design at the premiere. you can also snag a free class t-shirt at the event.

2. Enjoy fireworks on the Drillfield after the premiere.
