This semester might look a little different from the norm, but there’s still plenty of ways to connect with the Virginia Tech community.

To help remind students of just how much there was to do last semester, Virginia Tech Student Affairs launched the Hokies Can Do campaign. It aims to continue spreading the word of fun, safe ways to engage this spring. Don't forget to check out VT Better Together for resources promoting good mental health.

The upcoming week will include Virginia Tech’s final well-being day for the spring semester on Monday, April 26. well-being days are structured to revolved around seven types of rest and wellness: mental, spiritual, emotion, social, creative, sensory, and physical.

Here are some events coming up this week:

MENTAL

Watch or listen to comedy. 

Write a thank-you note to someone who has helped you this semester.

SPIRITUAL

Participate in a meditative form of exercise.

EMOTIONAL

Join Hokie Wellness' "Developing Resiliency Workshop" at 6:30 p.m.  

Watch "Inside Out" with VTU and discuss the movie after with Cook Counseling.

SOCIAL

Enjoy an afternoon on Dietrick Field by attending Spring Fest from 12 - 6 p.m.

Connect with fellow Hokies through Cook Counseling's "Social without the Media Support Group".  

CREATIVE

Create graduation cards for your fellow graduating Hokies.

Make a bucket list of summer activities to do this summer. 

PHYSICAL

Have a hearty breakfast this morning. 

Try your hand at the new Virginia Tech Disc Golf Course.  

SENSORY

Get 30 minutes of sunshine.

Do something you loved to do as a kid - run through the sprinklers, finger paint, or visit a park
