2017 Outstanding Student Awards

Eleven graduating Virginia Tech students received the 2017 Outstanding Student Awards from their respective colleges.

Sponsored by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and the Division of Student Affairs, the Outstanding Senior Award recognizes exceptional academic achievement and leadership by a graduating student from each of the university’s eight colleges, the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and awards for undergraduate and graduate student of the year. Recipients have a minimum grade-point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale and are selected by faculty and students within their respective colleges.
