Want to drive a new vehicle instead of your own for eight days?

From: Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI)

The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) is seeking individuals to participate in a research study. This study will involve driving a research vehicle instead of the individual's own for approximately eight days. In addition, participants will be asked to drive the provided research vehicle on public roadways in Blacksburg and the surrounding area for two sessions, with each visit lasting about two hours. The first session will occur prior to the drive and the second will be after the return of the research vehicle.

To qualify, each volunteer must have a valid U.S. license, be 30-55 years of age, and currently drive a vehicle with third row seating (a Crossover, a SUV, or a Minivan) as his or her primary vehicle. In addition, participants must drive, on average, 40+ miles per day, 5 days a week, and preferably 300 miles or more per week.

The research vehicle in this project is a newer model equipped with advanced technology. Volunteers will be compensated $200 for full participation and all data will be kept strictly confidential.
