Not just for artists – Virginia Tech’s visual arts and society minor makes artistic and creative exploration easily attainable for students of any major. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics majors are some of its biggest fans.
Laura Beaudet, a junior psychology major, has aspirations for a career in special education. Through her pursuit of a Pathways minor in disabilities studies, she has learned a great deal about herself and the people around her.
The annual institute is a two-day professional development event for faculty, advisors, and other administrators working with Virginia Tech’s First-Year Experience courses, Pathways to General Education, or the HHMI Inclusive Excellence Grant.
