Faculty Principal sought for the Leadership and Social Change College at O'Shaughnessy Hall

From: Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs invites applications for the role of Faculty Principal in the Leadership and Social Change College at O’Shaughnessy Hall. The deadline to apply is December 4.

Virginia Tech joined a larger national movement in 2011 and 2012 by establishing two residential college communities: The Honors Residential Commons in East Ambler Johnston Hall and the Residential College at West Ambler Johnston. Continuing this movement, Virginia Tech is pleased to welcome the Leadership and Social Change College to the newly renovated O’Shaughnessy Hall. This third community in the residential college model will open August 2018.

Residential colleges are multi-disciplinary (students from any major), multi-generational (first-year through and including graduate students), and have strong models of self-governance. They serve as spaces where students can form deep relationships with fellow students, faculty, and administrators.
