Applications open for the 2020 cohort of Aspirations Fellows

From: Student Affairs

To Experience Virginia Tech is to explore, practice, and live the Aspirations for Student Learning, whether in residence halls, in dining centers, through campus organizations and internships, in the classroom, or in service. Aspirations Fellows are students who have explored their interests and discovered opportunities to apply their strengths both in and out of the classroom; who have practiced self-reflection in an effort to truly integrate their curricular and co-curricular learning; and who are ready to live as leaders and mentors to other students.

Applications for the 2020 cohort of the Aspirations Fellows will be accepted through Wednesday, March 4. Applicants must be at least sophomore status with a minimum of 30 credit hours completed by the time they apply and must be in good academic, academic honor code, and conduct standing with the university. A letter of reference is required to apply. Selected students will be recognized at the 2020 Student Recognition and Aspirations Ceremony on Sunday, May 3.

Details about the former Aspirations Fellows are available online. Contact with questions.
