Student Mail Services reminders: Pick up packages and mail by May 6

As the 2021-2022 academic year comes to a close, on campus residential students are reminded to pick up any mail and packages that have already been processed by Mail Services by May 6. Students are encouraged to check their Virginia Tech email for those notifications. Items arriving after that date will be returned to the sender.

For designated on campus summer residents and students, mail and packages will continue normal operations through Owens Mail Center and PickUPP locations for duration of summer.

Mailing addresses for on campus students can be updated starting May 7. Students are encouraged to update addresses as soon after move-out as possible to help avoid misdirected packages.

Helpful tips:

To update a mailing address, log into HokieSpa and then click “Personal Information” to update.

Update your online shopping accounts to ship to your new address.

Pick up any remaining mail and packages at Owens Mail Center by May 6 to keep them from being returned.

Virginia Tech Mail Services looks forward to serving incoming freshman students in fall 2022 at our new package PickUPP locations. More details will be shared via VTX and on the Mail Services website as they’re available.
