Campus impacts: Chiller Plant Phase II

The Virginia Tech Facilities Department is committed to keeping the community informed on the latest traffic, pedestrian, parking, and accessibility impacts associated with the chilled water infrastructure project.
During the project, the Facilities website, Campus Closures Map, and on-campus signage will provide information about these impacts. Construction teams will strive to maintain a barrier-free environment and will restore affected areas to a compliant, accessible state. Please report any accessibility barriers using this form.
Update: Sept. 12, 2019
On Sept. 16, 2019 the Virginia Tech Facilities Department will begin chilled water line installations in the Prices Fork Parking Lot #6 and Perry Street Parking Lot #1 areas that will continue through Nov. 15, 2019. The parking lots will be open. Only the spaces needed for construction will be blocked. Entry from West Campus Drive will be closed; Prices Fork Lot #6 will be able to exit to West Campus Drive. Please enter from Prices Fork Road or Perry Street for the respective lots.
