Campus impacts: Chiller Plant Phase II

The Virginia Tech Facilities Department is committed to keeping the community informed on the latest traffic, pedestrian, parking, and accessibility impacts associated with the chilled water infrastructure project.
During the project, the Facilities website, Campus Closures Map, and on-campus signage will provide information about these impacts. Construction teams will strive to maintain a barrier-free environment and will restore affected areas to a compliant, accessible state. Please report any accessibility barriers using this form.
Update: Nov. 25, 2019
Chilled water line construction activity in the Prices Fork/Perry Street parking areas will continue between Dec. 2-16, 2019. The access road from Prices Fork Road to the Perry Street Garage, and nearby surface parking lots will be closed.
The northeastern Perry Street Garage entrance/exit will be closed; the northwestern entrance/exit will be open.
Prices Fork Lot 5 will be open.

Chilled water line construction activity in the Prices Fork/Perry Street parking areas will continue. To accommodate construction, Prices Fork Lot #5 will be blocked between Nov. 18 and Dec. 2, 2019.
Prices Fork Lot #6 will remain open with access from West Campus Drive (not accessible from Prices Fork Road). Sidewalk detours through the area will be in place and marked by signage. The northwestern entrance to the Perry Street Garage will be closed; the northeastern entrance to the garage will remain open.
