Faculty and staff parking permits for the 2019-20 year go on sale on July 15. Student permits go on sale Aug. 5.

Current permits for 2018-19 expire Aug. 31, 2019 (faculty, staff and students).

Permits can be purchased online or in person at the Office of Parking and Transportation, 505 Beamer Way. If visiting in person, please fill out the permit form prior to arrival. Annual 2019-20 permits are valid from the time of purchase until Aug. 31, 2020.

If you are a student or employee, please login with your PID and password using 2-Factor Authentication. If you do not have a PID, or need additional help with the 2-Factor Authentication process, contact 4HELP at 540-231-4357.

Faculty and staff
Online purchases may be paid for with a Visa, MasterCard or through payroll deduction. Employees with 30 years of service (or more) receive a free parking permit. The permit can be purchased using the online system; employees will not be charged. The low-cost ($30 annual) permit for the faculty/staff remote lot, Chicken Hill, will also continue to be offered.

Students                                                                                 
Online payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, or by using your student account online. Students who wish to purchase a motorcycle permit must do so in person. For the second year, Parking and Transportation will offer a low-cost ($30 annual) student remote parking permit option. The lot is located between the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC) and the new airport expansion. It will be served by Blacksburg Transit on the CRC route with service to campus every 15 minutes.
