The Department of Human Resources will be hosting retirement planning sessions throughout 2017. These sessions will provide employees with information on the Virginia Retirement System and Optional Retirement Plan benefits. Topic include retirement options, calculating monthly benefits, increasing retirement income, life insurance, health insurance and other VRS benefits and resources. All ages are welcome; however, this session will be especially helpful for employees who are thinking about retirement within the next six years.
The dates for these sessions are:
- Monday, October 9: 9 – 11 a.m.
- Friday, October 27: 9 – 11 a.m.
- Monday, November 6: 9 – 11 a.m.
- Monday, November 20: 1 – 3 p.m.
