Finals Extravaganza to offer stress management, relaxation activities, and therapy dogs

The Cook Counseling Center (CCC) is co-sponsoring the fall “Finals Extravaganza” to help students learn how to cope with the stress of finals. 

During this program scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the McComas Hall Lobby, students will be served a variety of snacks and other refreshments, have opportunities to participate in fun activities and to interact with the CCC therapy dogs. In addition, participants will have the chance to learn study tips and mindfulness skills for finals, enter for a raffle drawing (Echo Dot and Amazon Fire Stick), and get a free chair massage.  

This program is being organized by the Cook Counseling Center in collaboration with Active Minds at Virginia Tech, the Student Government Association, Schiffert Health Center, Hokie Wellness, Recreational Sports, Services for Students with Disabilities, the Women’s Center, and the Student Success Center.
