35th GSA Research Symposium and Exposition will be held March 27

From: GSA Research Symposium Committee

The 35th annual Graduate Student Assembly Research Symposium (GSARS), Discovering Perspectives, will be held in the Graduate Life Center at Virginia Tech on Wednesday, March 27.

As part of this event, there will be cash awards for the top participants in each of the major competitions: oral presentations, five-minute flash talks, poster presentations, and installations. In addition, there will be a nationally recognized keynote speaker, and an awards banquet and awards presentation. All the abstracts submitted to the 35th Annual GSA Research Symposium are blind reviewed by two or more peer reviewers in order to ensure the high quality of the presentations in communicating with a broad audience.

This year, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come and cheer on your fellow students from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as they present their abstracts. The poster presentations will occur during the reception (RSVP required, at http://bit.ly/GSA_RSVP) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This year's keynote speaker is Joe Hanson, and he will be speaking at 6, after which the awards will be announced.
