Hokie Health: Employee Assistance Programs offer wealth of resources and services
Mental health is health. And we believe that when it comes to mental health, at Virginia Tech we are Better Together.
From: Hokie Wellness
Mental health and emotional well-being are a vital part of life and impact thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Being mentally and emotionally healthy can promote productivity and effectiveness in activities such as work, school, or caregiving. If you need help, employees covered by the Virginia Tech’s health care plans have access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Employees may reach out to their appropriate EAP by phone or online. Benefitted employees have access to four free visits per issue with a counselor through the EAP.
