Health Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Reimbursement Deadline is Sept. 30
The deadline to file Health Flexible Spending Account (HFSA) and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) reimbursements for the 2018-2019 plan year is Sept. 30. Reimbursement claims must be filed and outstanding card transactions must be resolved by Sept. 30. Reimbursement requests can be submitted via fax at 877-451-7244 or online at www.benefitadminsolutions.com and click on Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) tab.
Any requests for additional documentation to support Health FSA transactions not satisfied by the deadline will result in taxable transactions. Requests are on the monthly statement and can be reviewed by logging into the online account.
