ICAT playdates go virtual

From: The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT)

The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology’s weekly playdates return for the fall 2020 academic semester in virtual form. Join colleagues from across campus and beyond to learn about the innovative work happening by teams of Virginia Tech faculty and students. Hear how these discipline-traversing research teams are using advanced technology and networks of creative people to address grand challenges and creative opportunities, ranging from large societal problems to industry-specific issues to the frontiers of artistic expression.

The virtual playdates happen each Friday from 9 – 9:30 a.m. and include a 15-minute presentation, followed by a live question-and-answer session. Find a list of speakers and topics on the ICAT website.
