Diversity and Inclusion Seed Investments: Apply by Sept. 25
From: The Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science
The Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science is soliciting proposals for its Diversity and Inclusion Seed Investments program. The program funds collaborations between Virginia Tech faculty and faculty at HBCUs, MSIs, or related programs, with the goal of building long-term partnerships that result in joint research proposals.
ICTAS plans to offer 15 two-year awards of up to $20,000 ($10,000 per year). Funding is anticipated to begin Oct. 23, 2020. Funds may be used to cover Virginia Tech faculty/student travel, student wages, GRAs, and supplies and materials used to further the partnership. Awardees are expected to present at the poster session at the HBCU-MSI Summit the year following their initial award and participate in ICTAS diversity activities.
One-page proposals are due by Sept. 25, 2020. More details are available here.
Proposals, as well as any questions or concerns, should be submitted to Chris Tysor, ICTAS Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator; email@example.com.
