Boost your team’s progress: new Microsoft Teams training sessions offered this fall
From: Division of Information Technology
You've heard that Microsoft Teams offers a well-integrated option for collaborating with your group at Virginia Tech. You’ve even considered giving Teams a try, but you keep dealing with long email threads and file attachments because you don’t know where to start -- and because you’re too busy to sort through all the features on your own.
Does this sound like you? If so, then Collaborative Computing Solutions (CCS), a unit within the Division of Information Technology, has the solution.
CCS is partnering with Microsoft to offer two online training sessions designed to introduce you to Microsoft Teams and explore how you can use Teams to collaborate within your department, class, or group on projects, research, and day-to-day work. Each session will be led by an expert from Microsoft who knows the ins and outs of Teams and can help you learn the fundamentals, so you can start using Teams to your advantage right away. Both sessions are free, but pre-registration is required.
Microsoft Teams Level 100: Wednesday, September 30, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This course is perfect for those who have little or no experience using Microsoft Teams. The instructor will provide a thorough introduction to the Microsoft Teams platform and show you the basics to optimize online collaboration efforts with your groups.
Microsoft Teams Level 200: Wednesday, October 21, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This more-advanced course will help you take your Microsoft Teams skills to the next level and become a more effective collaborator within the Teams environment. While ideal for those familiar with the basics of Microsoft Teams, you do not have to take the Level 100 course before taking this one.
