Diversity Advocate and Unconscious Bias On-Demand Courses

The Office for Equity and Accessibility (OEA) has added two new on-demand modules to its Search Committee Training.

  • Diversity Search Advocate (Module 5): This course prepares faculty and staff to serve as Diversity Search Advocates on Search Committees.
  • Unconscious Bias (Module 6): This course increases your understanding of Unconscious Bias, how it affects behavior, how it impacts all of us, and action steps to help counter bias.

Training is good for two years. Anyone that participates on a search committee must attend. Those that have already completed search committee training will not need to retake modules 1-4, but will have to register again to take the two additional modules.
