Departmental ‘Continuity of Operations Plan’ due March 15
To accomplish the university's mission, Virginia Tech must ensure its operations are performed with minimal disruption during all-hazards emergencies or other situations that may interrupt normal operations.
To that end, all university departments have designated Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) coordinators who are responsible for maintaining an updated plan for the department.
The plans should be updated annually and submitted to Virginia Tech Emergency Management through the emergency management planning portal.
The deadline is March 15.
