Virginia Tech Emergency Management offers Incident Command System 100 training on Oct. 9

The campus community is invited to register for the Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS) 100 training being offered by Virginia Tech Emergency Management on Oct. 9 from 2-5 p.m.
ICS 100 is FEMA-approved and Virginia Tech-specific. During the training, participants will gain an understanding of ICS and learn about the history, features, principles, and organizational structure of ICS. Additionally, participants will gain insights into the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
