From: Outreach and International Affairs

More than ever before, recent events nationally and globally, have made clear how interconnected our world is. The need for students to be able to appreciate diverse cultures and perspectives, understand the impact of events around the world, and solve problems that transcend borders has never been greater.

The Global Education Office and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is offering the Global @ Home: Bringing Global Perspective to the Classroom webinar on Thursday, June 18 at 10 a.m.

The program is designed to support faculty and staff with infusing their courses with intercultural content, exploring virtual exchanges, and accessing internationalization resources. Several faculty will share their experiences and tips for globalizing the Virginia Tech curriculum.
Please register by June 12. For questions, contact Rachel Fitzgerald, associate director.
