One of the last Virginia Tech opportunities to study abroad this fall is still accepting applications. A few spots are available for the European Affairs in a Global Context program at the Steger Center for International Scholarship in Switzerland.
Applying by Feb. 26, 2018 is highly suggested to ensure adequate time to meet processing requirements and possible scholarship opportunities.
To apply, click on “Apply Now” at the bottom of the program website.
About the program
As part of the Political Science Global Engagement initiative, this study abroad program will explore European security, political economy and identity issues that will shape politics on the European continent for years to come. Students will study these issues and pursue undergraduate research and other experiential learning. 15 hours of course credit, including Italian, will build toward the Minor in Global Engagement. Students in all majors are welcome.
For more information, read the program in context prepared by Department of Political Science Associate Professors Scott G. Nelson and Yannis A. Stivachtis, who will be leading the program.
