The Virginia Tech Police have arrested two Hampton, Virginia, men on multiple charges. Kevin Lamont Rogers, Jr., 317 Dunn Circle, and Dwahn Harrell, Jr., 4 Stephen Conway Court, were arrested Oct. 16 on campus without incident.

Neither are students at Virginia Tech. Both are charged with one count of burglary. In addition, Harrell was served with two arrest warrants from Albemarle County for petit larceny and one arrest warrant from Newport News, Virginia, also for petit larceny. The arrests come after a thorough investigation conducted by the Virginia Tech Police surrounding recent burglaries on campus.

Both individuals are being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail. 

“This case reminds all of us that college and university campuses are not immune from this type of criminal behavior,” said Virginia Tech Police Chief Kevin L. Foust. “We must all remain vigilant and continue to safeguard our property in residence halls rooms and throughout campus.”
