From: Virginia Tech Police Department

The new year is a good time to clear out the old and bring in the new. That is especially true when it comes to medication.

All members of the campus community can dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medication in the designated red kiosk in the lobby of the Public Safety Building Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants should first check in with the Security Desk straight through the double doors off the lobby for an officer who will open the unit and record the disposal.

Questions can be directed to the Virginia Tech Police Department at 540-382-4343.
