Registration open, schedule posted for SciTS 2021, hosted by Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech will host the 12th Annual International Science of Team Science Conference (SciTS 2021) to be held entirely online, June 7-11.
Registration is open and the conference schedule has been posted for those who wish to participate in this global conference that is designed to advance understanding of collaborative initiatives that address multidimensional and complex societal problems. SciTS 2021 also provides a platform to investigate contributions that team science research can make to addressing urgent contemporary challenges.
Attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible in order to take advantage of content focused around the theme, “Science of Team Science and the Human Condition.”
Registration closes on June 2 and members of the Virginia Tech community may participate free of charge. This year’s online conference will include:
- Four international keynote speakers
- Six invited panels on cutting edge topics
- Two special round tables
- 71 pre-recorded individual splash talks
- 22 workshops (with preference selection available once you register!)
- Three SIG panels and nine collaborative panels
SciTS 2021 convenes science academics, leaders and members of cross-disciplinary teams, institutional leaders and administrators, and funding agencies to collaboratively rethink how science of team science research and practice may serve as a foundation for positive change and justice.
As host university with a growing footprint in the greater Washington, D.C., metro area, Virginia Tech will facilitate and advance discussions and presentations on contextual conditions and collaborative processes that promote development and coordination of laws, policies, strategies, and practices that address urgent societal challenges.
