Facts and Snacks: Developing Communication Skills

From: Virginia Tech Roanoke Center

If you think of effective communication in terms of putting a final polish on your presentation slides, you're missing most of what makes real communication and connection possible.

At Virginia Tech's Center for Communicating Science, we use tools and practices from the theatre arts to help people discover and develop their abilities to listen, focus, attend to their audiences, use awareness of body language and find the essence of what they need to communicate.

This event is at NO COST, but seating is limited. Email Martha Franklin at mpfrankl@vt.edu to reserve your spot by Jan. 28. Free parking for the first 20 registrants.

Event is at the Virginia Tech Roanoke Center campus, 108 N. Jefferson St., Suite 701, Roanoke. A FREE networking Facts & Snacks event is held at the VTRC monthly. Follow us on Facebook to keep up-to-date.
