From: The College of Science

The Virginia Tech College of Science loves when the calendar hits March 14 – or 3.14, or the mathematical constant known as Pi.

This March 14 (a Sunday), we’ll be hosting the Virginia Tech Pi Day 5K Challenge – that’s 3.14 miles. Whether you plan to run, swim, bike your 3.14 miles – it’s bound to be great!

Registration for the event is $30 with $10 of each registration fee supporting the College of Science Annual Fund. This fund enables the college to support students, faculty, and staff throughout the year with various programs that would not be possible without the generosity of philanthropic donors.

Each registration will include an official race packet, mailed to the address provided at checkout. Register by 5 p.m. March 1 to receive your packet in time for race day.

Packets will include an official Virtual 5k long sleeve t-shirt, embroidered key chain, a COS decal. Any registrations placed after the March 1 will still receive a packet although it not be mailed until after March 30.
