Steven Barnett, a scholarship recipient, will join Lance Collins, vice president and executive director of the Innovation Campus, for a virtual Tech on Tap panel on Sept. 23 to discuss his perspectives on the new Innovation Campus master of engineering in computer science program.
The Innovation Campus Advisory Board includes top executives from Qualcomm, Boeing, KPMG, Northrop Grumman, The Carlyle Group and Hunch Analytics, along with several tech pioneers. The board will provide valuable perspectives and expertise to President Tim Sands and other senior leaders, including Vice President and Executive Director Lance R. Collins
During the three-day meeting, board members will receive reports on the Innovation Campus in Northern Virginia, the planning for the sesquicentennial celebration in 2022, new Title IX regulations, and the current state of university fundraising and the research enterprise.
Connie Stovall’s position in the University Libraries started out as a few side projects after a conversation between University Libraries Dean Tyler Walters and Brandy Salmon, associate vice president for innovation and partnerships and managing director for the new Innovation Campus.
